Ant Counters
There are 2 ant counter files, one for black ink printers and one for color printers.  Each file contains 2 pages with a total of 6 blocks of 48 counter images per block.  Each player will need 1 block of counters.
If you use the black & white file, print 3 copies of both pages for a total of 6 pages.  Each page should be printed onto a different color of paper or cardstock.  You will need to mount only 1 block (48 counters) from each page.
If you use the color file, print both pages on full sheet labels.

Shared Counters

The shared counters file contains images of the 36 Discovery, 24 Plus, 24 Minus, 6 Nest Site, and 6 Trail counters.  There are 2 blocks for each counter type, one for the counter fronts and one for the counter backs.  Print the page on off-white paper or cardstock using a black ink printer.

Mount & Cut
Chipboard or EVA Foam
You can mount your counters either on chip board or 2mm EVA foam sheets.  You can find both at your local hobby supply store.  EVA is easier to cut and comes in a variety of colors.
Single Sided
First cut the counter sheets into blocks to make them easier to work with.  Counters are generally printed in blocks of 48.  Leave at least a 1/4 inch margin all the way around the block.
If you are using glue, place the counter sheet face down on a newspaper.  Apply white glue to the back of the sheet then smear the glue around with your finger until you have a thin coat covering the entire sheet.  Next, pick up the sheet and apply it to the chip board or EVA.  Use a cloth or paper towell to press the sheet to the chip board or EVA - do not rub.  Put the glued counter sheet on a flat surface and place several books on top of it.  Allow it to dry overnight.
Double Sided
If you are making double sided counters, first mount the front block and wait for it to dry.  Then use scissors or a pen knife to cut the margin away from the block.  Do not cut out the individual counters at this time.
Next, cut out the unmounted back block without leaving a margin.  Make sure the front block and back block have the same orientation and glue the back block to the back of the mounted front block.
Cut
Finally, after any glue has dried over night, use scissors or a pen knife to cut out the individual counters.
